England’s dashing all-rounder Ben Stokes confirming his name to go under the auction in February at Bangaluru. Ahead of the IPL Auction 2017, some sources reports that Virat Kohli talks to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Management about Ben Stokes.
Now the two IPL teams – Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiants are eyeing to buy Ben Stokes in IPL 2017. GL and RPSG, who made their debut in last season, GL finished at top 4 while RPSG at No.7.
Gujarat Lions’ CEP Harvinder Singh said, “If I told you that we are not looking at him as an option, then that certainly will not be the case. He is definitely an option. But I will not tell you whether he fits into our scheme of things or not. Ideally when you take in a player, you bring him in with the understanding that he will be available for all games.”

Rising Pune Supergiants’ CEO Raghu Iyer said,“If English players (and Ben Stokes is certainly one) make themselves available for the entirety of the tournament, they are bound to create a flutter or two.”
After the poor start by Rising Pune Supergiants, they will try to make a strong comeback in IPL 2017. Ms Dhoni to lead Rising Pune Supergiants while Suresh Raina to lead Gujarat Lions.
