Yuvraj Singh might play against Gujarat Lions: Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Gujarat Lions after six-day break since their last match. Yuvraj Singh is set to make his debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Gujarat Lions.
“Yuvraj adds a lot to our side because it is not only his ability with the bat and being a left-hander which is going to add to our strengths; it is also about what he can do with the ball.” Sunrisers coach Tom Moody.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s skipper is most consistent player for their team, he scoring 386 runs in just 7 matches at an average of 77.20 and strike-rate of 168.55. Kane Williamson’s fifty after recovering from a hamstring injury should help in the middle order. But they need some talented Indian players in the middle orders. May be Yuvraj Singh can help with both bat and ball. He might play the first match in IPL 2016 today against Gujarat Lions.
Dwayne Bravo missed Lions’ last game against Delhi Daredevils, but he is expected to play in XI. Dinesh Karthik, who is playing brilliantly in the middle order for Gujarat Lions, scoring 215 runs at an average of 35.83 and a strike-rate of 127.21.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman will want to take advantage of that. The two Sunrisers fast bowlers have taken 18 wickets, swinging the ball, slowing it down and nailing the yorkers.
Yuvraj Singh might get a chance to play his first game in IPL 2016 in the place of Deepak Hooda.
