Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 2016 blockbuster movie Theri marked as biggest film ever in his career. Directed by Atlee, Theri grossed more than 160+ cross worldwide. Film produced by Thanu and Samantha, Amyh Jackson played female lead.

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Viwaroopam is one among the 100 crore tamil movies list. The movie directed by himself and bankrolled by Aascar films. VIswaroopam garnered 130+ crores at box office.

Vijay – AR Murugadoss tamil action thriller ‘Thuppakki’ declared as blockbuster of 2012. The movie produced by V Creations has grossed more than 150+ crores at box office. Kajal Agarwal played as female lead in Thuppakki.

Thala Ajith Kumar’s 2015 super hit movie Vedalam recorded as 100 crore movie. The film directed by Siva and produced by AM Ratnam, Musical by Anirudh. Ajith starrer has garnered 130+ crores at box office.

Suriya’s 2016 sci-fic ’24’ has grossed more than 100 crore at tamil box office. The movie directed by Vikram Kumar has receptioned well in both tamil and telugu. Reportedly, 24 is the first film by Suriya to reach 100 crore mark.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 2014 blockbuster ‘Kaththi’ marked his second 100 crore movie in tamil after Thuppakki. The movie directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by LYCA production. Kaththi has grossed more than 120+ crores at box office.

Lingaa has grossed 100 crore according to some leading online portal. The film starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Sonakshi Sinha, Anshka in lead roles. Directed by KS Ravi Kumar and musical by AR Rahman.

11.) Kabali 

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is the fastest kollywood movie to reach prestigious 100 crores listing. The film has entered into the list in three day with worldwide collection. The movie also set new record for highest opening day collection for tamil movie. Starring Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte in lead roles, Kabali directed by Ranjith.


12.) Bairavaa

Ilayathalapthy Vijay’s 2017 Bairavaa has hits 100 crore club in five days. The news officially confirmed by Vijaya Productions. The film is released for Pongal 2017 in nearly 3000 screen worldwide and done huge business. Despite of average review and word of mouth, Ilayathalapathy starrer joined elite 100 crore list. This is Vijay’s fourth film to include in this list after Thupakki, Kaththi and Theri.

13. Si3 (aka) Singam 3 

Singam 3 100 crore

After Bairavaa in earlier 2017, Suriya’s Si3 (aka) Singam 3 officially enters into 100 crores club of kollywood. The movie released on February 2017 in more than 2500+ screens in tamil and telugu languages. The film has garnered huge positive reviews from critics and public. Si3 reaches 100 crore worldwide gross in 6th day (Tamil & Telugu). Starring Suriya and Anushka in lead roles, Directed by Hari.

14. Vivegam 

Vivegam 100 Crore

Thala Ajith’s 2017 Super Hit film Vivegam enters 100 crore club worldwide gross in first week of release. The movie opened in huge number of screens worldwide and received among fans. Despite of some mixed reviews, The film performed well at box office. Starring Ajith, Kajal Agarwal, Vivek Oberai in lead role, the film direction by Shiva.

15. Mersal 

Mersal 100 Crore

2017’s biggest Blockbuster Mersal is the next 100 crore club film by Thalapathy Vijay. The movie which is directed by Atlee released on Deepawali which collects record number at box office since day 1. Mersal set all time biggest opening of tamil cinema by surpassing Kabali & Vivegam. Mersal is the fifth Vijay film officially entered into 100 crore club.
